iced coffee

summertime heat means the best kind of coffee is iced. try our simple recipe for a quick and great-tasting iced coffee!

here's what you need:

  • 1 Presse (black or silver)
  • 4 tbsp. coffee grounds (1 more tbsp. than usual)
  • 1 ½ cups hot water (or about half of the presse)
  • ice

add the coffee grounds and hot water to the Presse. brew for 3 min. fill the inner plunger with ice and push in.

hot concentrated coffee will come up through the filter and melt the ice, keeping the right coffee to water ratio. your coffee is now cold and will STAY cold, like it should.

vanilla almond iced coffee

nothing's better than a sweet & nutty kick in your coffee. vanilla syrup and almond extract do the trick.

here's what you need:

  • iced coffee (4 tbsp. coffee grounds, 1 ½ cups hot water or half of the Presse, inner plunger filled with ice)
  • 1 ½ tbsp. vanilla syrup
  • ¼ tsp almond extract
  • 2-3 tbsp. half-and-half

make the iced coffee using the basic iced coffee recipe and then just stir in the ingredients. yep, you're done.

vietnamese iced coffee

here's what you need:

  • iced coffee (4 tbsp. coffee grounds, 1 ½ cups hot water or half of the Presse, inner plunger filled with ice)
  • 3 tbsp. sweetened condensed milk
  • milk and whipped cream, if desired

make the iced coffee using the basic iced coffee recipe. add the sweetened condensed milk and stir. add some milk if you feel like you need to. for an extra treat, top with some whipped cream. yum.

dirty chai iced coffee

don't let your iced coffee get dull this summer. spice it up with this refreshing coffee and chai mix.

here's what you need:

  • 1 Presse (black or silver)
  • strong brew iced coffee: 4 tbsp. coffee grounds + ½ cup hot water + ½ of inner plunger filled with ice
  • ½ cup chai concentrate
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk

make the strong brew iced coffee to make sure you get that coffee kick. then just add the chai concentrate and unsweetened almond milk. top with extra ice.
